The Franklin Johnston Group embodies a culture of caring that resonates throughout everything we do. Giving back to the community financially and providing opportunities for our employees to give their time has been important to the company since it was founded and is something that will continue to be a part of who we are.
TFJG team members clocked in over 200 volunteer hours
and more than $250,000 in donations toward local nonprofits in 2019.
JT WALK & FUNDRAISER
OPERATION SCHOOL SUPPLIES
UNITED WAY DAY OF CARING
Every year TFJG proudly participates in fundraising to support the JT Walk & Beach Party along side the Virginia Gentlemen to fund research to find a cure for ALS. In 2020 we surpassed our goal, raising $46,255 for the cause!
Yearly, since TFJG’s start, we hold Operation School Supplies where we provide school supplies to children at some of our apartment communities. During 2020 the needs of school age children changed due to COVID but we were still able to provide supplies to 2,800 children at 40 different communities to help them have a successful year ahead!
Each year TFJG participates in the United Way Day of Caring and also holds a United Way fundraising campaign. We give teams time to volunteer around our community as well as raise money. In 2019 we won the Silver Trailblazer Award, raising over $33k for The United Way.
