Compliance Support Specialist

Donna McDowell joined The Franklin Johnston Group as the Compliance Support Specialist in May 2018. She brings over 30 years of experience in the multifamily industry, specializing in tax credit property management; including: construction, lease-up, rehab and REIT. As the compliance support specialist, her role consists of reviewing resident files for eligibility approval following the IRS Code Section 42 as it pertains to LIHTC Program specifications. Prior to joining the company, she served as Senior Property Manager and Support Specialist to two Regional Managers – supporting over 2800 units and troubleshooting multiple distressed properties. Donna is passionate about supporting our Nation’s military and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Military Appreciation Day Inc. and as Chair of their Food Committee coordinating all aspects of preparation and serving up to 1500 individual meals over two day events.
